Passive protection (Coating and/or Painting)
ETI is specialized into coating and painting activities. Several kinds of coating are issued to protect welded joints, but the most used is the application of thermo-shrinkable sleeves, which are made of the same material of the pipe’s original coating (PE, PPE…).
In the confined areas and difficult access zones, the most used kind of coating is airless or brush application of thermosetting resin to protect welded joints.
Coating activity is essential to protect by corrosion, welded joints for a long time.
