The Plaquemines project (Part of Venture Global LNG) consists in the construction of 18 Mega Modules each consisting of 2 modules for the treatment of LNG to be installed in the production site in Luisiana (USA). The modules construction is carried out in the Baker Hughes Yard in Avenza (Carrara MS).
The scope of work of ETI SpA consists in the erection of piping, equipment, valves and supports of Nr. 3 modules. 1 Module almost finished, 1 module currently in construction, 1 module will follow the delivery of first one.

Total weight for each module:
Piping weight: 182.000 kg (stainless steel mainly and carbon steel)
Total 3 modules 546.000 kg
Piping range diameter: ½” up to 42 “
Supports weight: 9.000 kg / total 27.000 kg
Valves: 39.000 kg / total 117.000 kg
Equipment: 340.000 kg / Total 1.020.000 kg
Welding inches: 4.500 “ / Total inches: 13.500 “
The current progress welded inches is around 5.600 “ (from March 2024).
Peak workload: 60 resources
Indirect resources: Site Engineer, Quality Engineer, Construction and Site Manager, HSE, etc.
